How long have you been in business?
GBI has been in business since 1967. GBI Data & Sorting Systems,(G B Instruments) was founded in 1967 by two engineers, Lloyd Gordon and Robert Bledsoe.
What is your primary product or service?
GBI, is a systems engineering firm that designs, manufactures, and installs complete turnkey automated sortation and distribution solutions. Our involvement with each customer is an on-going process, we monitor the performance of all our systems, suggest and design enhancements, and offer support 24/7/365.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Maurice Rochman recently celebrated his 25th year at GBI. He is a degreed engineer and has moved from managing the engineering and production departments to his current position as President.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
GBI systems are simple to operate by making generous use of software controls and providing familiar graphical user interfaces. We employ the latest technology in all our systems providing integration flexibility today with a growth path that leads well into the future.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?

In 1994, GBI was purchased by its employees, who are dedicated to provide our customers with the best solutions designed to meet their needs.
What are your hours of operation?
Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5 pm (EST). GBI's team of customer service engineers provide 24/7/365 support
