How long have you been in business?
Since 1982 Unique Communications, Inc has been in business as a Telephone Communications Interconnect selling the latest telecommunications equipment and services, including PBX/Key Systems, cabling, VOIP, local and long distance services, and all communications and security needs.
What is your primary product or service?
Telephone PBX/Key Systems including Tadiran Coral, Samsung, and various other systems including Hosted Solutions, Voip. Security Cameras and equipment sales & installations. We also sell and install voice and fiber cabling, perform adds, moves, and changes to existing equipment/service. Local & Long Distance carrier sales.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Before opening Unique Communications I worked for BellSouth, then decided to open my own company so I could provide to my customers the quality service and equipment they deserved.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
As a Woman Owned company we provide equipment and services to various businesses, and this year we have been licensed to sell to the State and Federal Government as well.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Presently we have one location, but we are in the process of opening another office in Central Florida since we have customers in Central Florida already.
Provide detailed directions to your location
We are located in the Coral Springs Industrial Park at the corner of Sample Road and Coral Ridge Drive very close to the Sawgrass Expressway.
What type of payments do you accept?
Checks, all Credit Cards, and Cash. We also provide leasing to our customers.
Which areas do you service?
We service mainly the tri-county area, but we do have customers in Orlando, and Naples areas as well.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Pat Parker is the President in charge of daily operations. Dennis Parker is Vice President and runs the Equipment/Technical side of the business.
What are your hours of operation?
Normal Hours are:8:00am to 5:00pm Monday - Friday. We provide 24/7 emergency service with a live person to speak to daily including Holidays..
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
That they were very happy with the service and price we gave them, and that they will refer us to other companies.
